Bottom line is he pulled it off without incident, and he is an ironman for accomplishing that. It's still not safe in my opinion, which last time I checked I was still entitled to. But as always, thanks for the overly dramatic response to my simple comment guys.
If he had crashed because he was tired it would have been his fault, but probably would have led to a rule change regarding driving time. So why do we have a 3 hour time limit for our events again?
 
Just because I don't agree with you Wes, doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion. I just simply don't agree.

The response to your question, which really isn't an answer, is that we don't have a three hour limit.
