Upcoming Portlandia race... explain the rides for charity.

6 GT86's (FRS/BRZ) registered for the CSCC drivers school/HPDE. They have also now been invited to stick around for the weekend and watch and donate.

I think you are doing a wonderful job by getting out the word. Organization and getting someone to "Take Charge" seems to be our issue within the club. There needs to be more volunteers among the club just to get the organization started. Maybe next year I can contact you about some of these things. I am always interested in getting the info out. We have some airline tickets from Horizon to anywhere in they fly and a beautiful set of books from Burt Levy to auction off. Lots of other items but I have memory problems like Mike described. Labeled a month ago and not I can't remember but there was some really good "stuff". I don't think all drivers get the chance to visit the tent if they have issues with the race car but they should send someone and see what we have. We are splitting the books up so maybe we get more interest rather than lots of money for a set. The are just really cool if you are into books on racing and such. The items in general are not aimed towards kids but to the adult "kid" in all of us.

Contact Mike Smith to see about anything else. He is out go to guy for everything.

To Clarify further,

If we want to GIVE race car rides, do we need to register or talk to somebody about this in advance?

Thanks!
Ben
