This year, Team Seattle, raising money in support of Seattle Children's Hospital, will be running in the Continental ST race, prior to the 24 Hours of Daytona.
The idea here is to provide an avenue for Club racers, like all of us, an entry into Grand Am racing, while supporting a great local charity!
The plan has been to run two cars in the ST race under the Team Seattle/Seattle Children's Hospital banner. The original two cars are filled (and filled pretty fast with funded drivers), but an opportunity has presented itself for a third Team Seattle entry, so we wanted to throw it out to our friends in Conference.
So, Team Seattle has two seats available for qualified and funded drivers for the CTSCC Daytona race, held on Thursday-Friday, January 24-25, 2013. The 24 Hour race will be held starting on Saturday.
If anyone is interested, please feel free to shoot me (dan@danrogers.net) or James Colborn (james.colborn@mac.com) an e-mail.
Of course, if any ICSCC folks want to help out the charity effort (as you guys do very generously every year!), visit teamseattle.com. Keep an eye out as the season goes on. At least one of the cars will be a full season effort, with some pretty neat opportunities for supporters throughout the year.
