Roll Cage Padding

I looked through the 2010 rules and did not see any requirement on padding the exposed roll cage bars that may come in contact with the driver, did I miss something? If used I did not see any requirement for this to be SFI or high density. I found the following in NASA:

15.6.4 Padding
All roll cage surfaces that may come in contact with the driver should be padded with
high-density padding such as Ethafoam or Ensolite.

It is recommended that padding
meeting SFI specification 45.1 be used.

Hey Tony...
Can't specifically site the rules, but pretty sure some type of SFI padding would be required specifically where your body might make contact with the cage in the event of an incident. Can't go wrong
using the good stuff especially where the cage might make contact with your head! Have a great Christmas and see you at the Kart event in January.

I believe your car may have its rules based upon SCCA GCRs.
The closest I see in the 2010 SCCA GCRs for GT and Production based cars is 9.4.G.1 which states:
"All portions of the roll cage subject to contact by the driver
must be padded with a minimum 1 inch of material. Padding
that meets or exceeds SFI 45.1 or FIA 8857-2001 (curved
padding), or SFI 45.2 or FIA sports car head rest material (flat
padding) specification is recommended."
