Tyler Kolbo Group 5 #117
1984/5 Porsche 944 Race car
Log books good through 2022 season
Raced 2-3 times a year since built in 2010
2.5L stock engine with built crank and higher compression
Race tuned suspension with massive front and rear sway bars
Roll cage, engine build, suspension upgrade and customization for road racing all performed by the late Greg Fordahl of Fordahl Motorsports in 2010
For details of the build please reach out by text or email.
This likely is not the fastest 944 on the track, but solid and reliable. I have tracked the car for 2 race weekends in 2022 after going through it with a 50 hour refresh including:
New timing and balance shaft belt assembly
Rebuilt injectors and fuel rail
New plugs, cap and rotor
New fluids throughout
Rebuilt front and rear brake calipers
New porterfield brake pads F/R
Replaced oil pan gasket
Resealed breather box
Hoosiers on the cookie cutter wheels have 11 heat cycles on them.
Many other little fixes along the way.
Suspension tune and alignment performed by Greg Fordahl in April 2022
Comes with a small spares package including:
Phone dial wheels with new Toyo RA1 rain tires
Front and rear brake pads and rotors
Other electrical odds and ends
Oil filters
