On Site Fire Hall
The town of Grass Valley is donating a steel building shell for a 6,000 sqft fire hall. This is super exciting news since ORP will have both ambulances and fire rescue truck on site. Moreover, this structure will have quarters for the Emergency Services crew and a medical treatment room.
This also means we will be pulling in commercial power to the Fire Hall and developing a water/waste water system that will eventually service the entire park.
Furthermore, this development provides a corner stone for local economic development and an impetuous to attract trained medical providers to a rural area.
In short, this development is a water shed event for all stakeholders: job creation, property enhancement, and better services at lower prices for ORP customers.
There will be many stories along the way. Great blog fodder. Stay tuned...."
There is also a post about reduced rate ambulance service being available because they have an agreement with the grass valley fire dept. Does this mean that those ambulances are also on call to the county and racing would have to stop if they were to be called out?
