I am not sure anything was posted here about the trip a bunch of NW racers took to Laguna this last October for a BMWCCA event, but wow-what a weekend. 75 degrees and sunny both days with packed grids - 75 cars or so between two run groups.
The NW group included me, Eric Krause, Jim McAdie, Jerold Lowe, Dan Rogers, Chuck Hurley, Jason Vein, and a bunch of other PRO3 folks.
We were lucky in that we we there for one of the few unlimited sound events - normally it is limited to low 90s db limits. It was a good thing there was no limit because my car (without the normal ICSCC sound devices) was the loudest BMW in the paddock at something like 109-111 dbs. Anyway, the local club put on a fantastic event and the meal and drink was excellent. We also represented the NW well by ruffling a few of the local feathers. Even swimming in a much larger pool, the LGR cars were the most competetive. With 3 races for each run group in two days, it was a non-stop full weekend.
