NW Formula Super Vee Championship?????

We now have seven Super Vees in the Northwest running as Formula Atlantic cars and a few more possibly coming on line. I am trying to get them together to run a non-official and non-sanctioned championship within group 3. Would there be any objections to this? We would keep track of our own points for finishes and we would run under current SCCA/ICSCC Formula Atlantic rules.

I think it is a great idea.

Have you given any thought to how many and which races will be in the series?

I have been tracking the group 3 participation numbers over the last 5 years with an eye towards promoting say 4 or 5 weekends a year as races that we should all attend.

No surprises it boils down to a couple at PR/TR, one or two at PIR and the Triple at SCR. Basically these are the best attended races anyway. All in this would be a 5 weekend, 7 race series.

Might even be able to sell it to some of the other group 3 racers since it is what they are doing anyway.

I think the tracks and the races you mentioned would be the ones I would want. Let me get input form the other FSV guys.
