WOW....
What a fantastic race weekend shaping up for July 31-Aug 1st....Huge run groups and fantastic weather. Group 2 and 5 are unreal and look at the Group 8 count for those expensive german cars. I think these 944 guys (watch out for that 799 hotshoe) are really loving Conference....As a new racer, I feel very blessed to be able to take part in such an event. Here's hoping everyone has an extraordinary weekend....now where did that little CRX go??

Any Miatas paddocking together??

Hope to see you there, Bill! (and I hope my job doesn't get in the way like last time!)

And I agree, this race weekend is shaping up to be a really fun one!

We need to get some of those boys from Grassroots Motorsports Magazine out here. Every now and then they mention Conference. I think they're interested!

@Mike Colangelo
I haven't raced with NASA or SCCA and all I know is Conference but I continually hear how much people like Conference vs. "other", so I'm happy to continue participating here. I think structure, the people, the tracks and the competition is spectacular and I wish I could win the lottery so I could do it more often. However, when I'm at the track with everyone having some good racing I feel like I've won the lottery.

BRING YOUR VIDEO CAMERAS!

+1

And thanks for reminding me to get a bigger memory card for my GoPro camera!

And don't forget about the Friday TNT hosted by IRDC at the discounted rate of $150. That's a great deal and a chance for some of the newer Conference drivers to get valuable seat time at the track. Sign up now at Motorsport Reg!

Yeah, we've been trying to get the 44 Cup group out in Conference for a while and it is finally coming together. Many of the guys are from Seattle so we are going to come pretty strong this weekend! The addition of the German Touring Car race only makes it better.

I really can't wait... gonna be a long week!

Eric, We'd love to have the Porsche guys paddock near us, heck we'd love to have you race against us! I look forward to chatting with you again this weekend and we are glad to have the 944 cup cars participating in Conference!

P.S.... There's over 50 cars in Group 5!!

The "Special Race", German Car Challenge has 40 entrants on MSReg. That's going to be fun!

One entry kinda sticks out:

95 Blaylock, Randy Group 8 2006 Porsche 993 Twin Turbo Bullet Racing/MB Euromotors Bothell, WA

Blaylock doesn't bring a knife to a gun fight, he brings a bazooka!

Dan

Yeah that must be a unicorn... a 2006 993 911. Considering the 993's were the last aircoolers from 95-98... having one 8 years newer is certainly a rare bird

Either that or they made a typo and meant 996!

I wonder how that will compare to the Legends car he's running in G6...

Yeah i agree that #99 guy has a ton of track incidents!

Er wait that's me.

I had a helluva a week in spokane. Between tow rig issues on the way out there to no logbook. Then again it didn't get better when i locked my keys in the trailer. Of course there was the contact on lap2 with# 43 dave d in the first race. Then we ended the weekend with a great race. Very hard racing w little passing made for 20 minutes of intense battles. Late in the race i lost it in# 2 and mike c guessed wrong and t boned me. Real bummer his car took it the worst and he has had no time.

I worked hard the past two weeks to get ready for this weekend. The car is over at fordahls to sort out the crooked alignment and flat spotted tires. I'm in hawaii on business hoping for a smooth trip home friday to be ready saturday. Much like spokane though this is my first event at pacific (dry) so should be fun.

See you out there
