I don't know how old the interview is, but for a track owner he seems a little uneducated. He references the CART series (hasn't run for at least 2 seasons), says the only place in the US that F1 will race is Indy (building a new track in Texas for F1), and he doesn't know what the Busch series is called now? Pacific Raceways is one of my favorite tracks and I don't want to crap on them, but how can they present themselves as a serious track when they don't seem to be keeping current on the changes in the market?

As I read the article, I recall Jason giving that speach 5 or 6 years ago! There's nothing new in the article if you've been following Pacific Raceway since the Fiorito's took it back.
