"The Okie"
Went to see this car this weekend in Salem. Has potential. I didn't buy it because I have too many things to do and no time to do it in. they are willing to negotiate, I had them down to $350.00, but decided not to buy because the LF looks like it may have been bent a bit. Definately repairable. Engine (2.7L) ran nicely, clutch good. needs tires and work.

I told Brady there I'd pass it on. they won't keep it much longer, going to scrap soon, but I asked him to give it a little longer so I could throw it up here.

There were no '85 325i's. If it is an 85 it is an "e" model with lower horsepower but good torque. If it is an "i" model, then it is '87 or later. "i"s were 2.5s and "e"s were 2.7 so you have an "e" there - correctly identified as an ITA classified car.

Do Eric and Tucker need a parts car?

I don't know anyone looking to build right now. A couple that want to get into ITA but are looking to buy already prepped cars.

I sent it to Eric first. I was thinking of making it an ITA car, but like I said, time is the thing I don't have.

It did run straight. Steering was good. Body was out of alignment so it could be just the front itself, ahead of the front hub.

I also thought of chumpcar, but I just have too much. It did have about 245K on it. No smoke, a couple leaks on the block I could see, but no drips. started right up and idled, but rough.
