I did not race in 2015 and plan to return to racing in 2016. Will SA2005 helmets be allowed through 2016 with SA2015 helmets mandatory in 2017? I am sorry if this has been covered previously.

Along those same lines but for BELTS, what is the cut-off date for this year? I know there was a rule change last year...

Now both FIA and SFI belts expire at the end of their fifth year. For example, if belts show May of 2012 as their in service date they are expired at the END of 2017, not May 2017.

In 2016, any of SA2005, SA2010, or SA2015 will be legal.
In 2017, either of SA2010 or SA2015 will be legal.
