Driver Training and Lapping question

What is meant by the sentence "All convertibles must have certified roll cage no exceptions!", does this mean that the cage has to meet the same as the ICSCC race rules requirements? Reason I’m asking is that there are some Factory Five roadster folks that would like to try the driver’s training but unsure of what this requirement means in detail.

As Asst. Steward, I can tell you what's "OK to race", but I don't have any authority at driving schools, and I'm sure that the rules will be different for each hosting Club. You'll need to talk to the person in charge of that particular school.

If you're referring to the IRDC Driving school that's coming up, Dave Bennitt's in charge of that one, and he can tell you what he will accept.
