CT4/T4 2017 Subaru BRZ $29K
Health issues force sale of recently rebuilt Subaru BRZ for ICSCC CT4. I bought this car from TechSport Racing who had raced it in Pirelli World Challenge TCA and won 3 championships. Originally a 2013 FRS, TechSport had completely rebuilt it as a 2017 Subaru BRZ. After the PWC it raced in SCCA T3 and in NASA with Toyota liveries. I bought the car from them in Aug 2022 and rebuilt it as a T4/CT4 car and was ready to race in 2024. Unfortunately, a serious health issue in Feb 2024 prevented that and now I need to sell the car.
The engine has about 5 hours and the transmission 15 hours. Recent Dyno available.
Fully spec’d for CT4/T4. ECUTec tune. Located in Bend Oregon. Spare wheels/tires.

I sold the 818 on RacingJunk pretty quickly. Prepping the BRZ for RJ Ad soon. I'd hate to see this CT4 car leave the NW.

This car is 99% ready for the new Pro86 class in Conference. There is 245lbs of ballast in it for CT4 that can be removed in 30 minutes (not including the corner balancing you'd need to redo!).
The engine- transmission is virtually a stock OEM BRZ. It has an ECUTek tune optimized to run on 100 Octane. (Premium + Boostane). Dyno results available, and Arcflash here in Bend can run a new one if you are willing to pay for it.
Ducted Oil cooler.
Vorshlag front camber plates. https://vorshlag-store.com/products/vorshlag-brz-fr-s-86-high-caster-camber-plates-oem-perches
MCS Coilovers
Greddy rear diff cover, ready for sensors or a diff cooler pump.
Whiteline rear subframe, differential, transmission bushing inserts. New OEM engine mounts.
Coolshirt box holder that doubles as ballast weight in the passenger seat area. There is no wiring or switch for the Coolshirt now though.
Porsche brake air diverters/deflectors.
Radium Engineering AOS.
Fire System. Pulls to activate on trans tunnel and in the passenger window on roll cage.
Wheels:
4x Motegi Traklite 17" x 7" +45 With Hoosier A7 225/45/17
4x Konig Lightning 17" x 7" +40 with Hoosier R7 225/45/17
4x Enkei RPF1 17" x 9" +42 Continental ECF 225/40/17. (The gold wheels in the images)
Other notes:
The driver seat is solid bolted down, no slider. It is setup for “Big Boys”. Drivers probably need to be at least 6’ tall to operate the car. To add a slider will take a little fabrication work.
The emergency electrical cutoff was bad, so I removed it but haven’t yet installed a new one. A cutoff is required for race-legal cars. My plan was to add two Longacre push switches, one mounted in the center stack near the oem on/off push button; and one mounted on the passenger side roll cage below the existing fire bottle pull handle. There are lots of options for setting up a cut-off.
The battery must be replaced; it won’t take a charge.
The key fob is not detected unless it is held on top of the push button start. I don’t know why, probably a Subaru Tech experienced with the anti-theft system can figure out why.
There is no permanent transponder. No Driver to Pit radio. No datalogger. No video system. However I have a VBOX Video HD2 video/datalogger that I will be posting in this for sale forum soon.
The car came with a Restrictor Plate required by SCCA T4 rules. I have never personally measured it. If racing in National level SCCA you should probably measure it yourself. I’ve heard of aftermarket restrictor plates being a tiny bit too large and causing a disqualification.

Make me an offer! I'm especially interested in a buyer willing to offer a first right of refusal to me as a codriver for some conference enduro racing. It's wishful thinking on my part, I'll almost certainly never be able to race again, but having that out there keeps me motivated in my rehab efforts.
