Australian looking for info on a Conference Datsun 510

I don't know anything about this other than what I'm posting here. Replies should probably go to the guy's e-mail address rather than here.

I am writing to find out some info of a Datsun 510 that and believe the owner is a member of the ICSCC. A friend of my father was at the World of Speed Bonneville in 2009 and took a photo of the 510 (picture attached) and I am very interested to get some specification from the owners. Any help you can forward back to me would be much appreciated.

Isn't or wasnt that Dan Walker's 510?

A quick Google search of the terms "icscc, 315, Datsun", reveals a black and red Datsun 510, sporting the number 315 was campaigned in two group 5 races by Mike Weeks in 2006. A link to the results can be found here.

I'm sure more information can be turned up through more searching. Dan Walker is listed on both entries in a Red and White 510 also from MAD racing. I remember seeing the cars at the track but I know nothing else about them.

The Mike Weeks Datsun is the ex Laakman bros. 510 that I purchased from them several years ago. It had been in storage since Westwood closed and needed a refurbish. Brian Meakings did the work and drove it for me and became a partner in the car- then was sold to Mike. This is from memory but I believe it was built in the late 80's as a replacement for another 510 that the Laakmans had wrecked. Dan Walker also has/had a 510 that I believe was owned by Skip Jones at one time?
