2 Hour Enduro

Last year it was a 1 hour enduro as a Special Race on most weekends (this can be verified by looking at the race schedule for 2013 on the main page). Then at the end of the year a "2 hour" finale of the "endurance series" was run in conjunction with the fall enduro hosted by Cascade.

The 1 hour enduro was simply a special race that started with Cascade then the following year it was adopted by other clubs and born from that was the "series" which was an unofficial "series" hence the quotations. Since none of the race schedules have been created yet it's tough to tell if it will take place again. Clubs may re-adopt it as a special race or choose to do something else.

Cascade's Board meeting was last night and it was decided to continue with the 1 hour mini Enduro again this year. It has been a big successes for us and the other clubs that have joined the "mini-E-series". It's a good bang for your buck for track time.
 
CSCC may not be looking that far ahead for 2014 yet, but in front of the October 8 hr enduro at PIR, they ran a 2 hr. mini-enduro kinda with the same entries as many of the 1 hr mini-enduro "special" races at different tracks throughout the season. It was nice touch. A bit of a season finale for those who had survived.
 
TC will Host the a 1 Hr endro at our event in July. CCW direction.. Long or short bypass is TBD.

Chris Heinrich is working on the 1 hour enduro Series. He's waiting for all the clubs to respond if they will have 1 hour enduro races and how many. Cascade will have three 1 hour enduros and then one 2 hour enduro at their event in October. We know that TC will also have a 1 hour enduro. Chris should have the final information in about two weeks. Thanks
