Without going into great detail, recent developments in my family life have made me come to realize it's time to sell the race car (oh, and the wife's SUV blew up today...BONUS!). While I'm not stepping away from racing completely, owning a car doesn't make sense for the foreseeable future. I'd rather see it collecting laps than dust, even if I'm not driving it.
About the car:
It's a 1990 Spec Miata, built and maintained by TC Motorsports.
The cage, built by Jon Ament, is one of the nicest SM cages you'll ever see.
In fact, I defy anyone to show me a better fitting or fabricated cage in a Spec Miata.
1990 1.6L Spec Miata with ICSCC log book
Approx. 125k miles, recent compression and leak down test revealed a healthy motor.
Clean WA title (not that it really matters with a race car)
All fluids are fresh-Redline synthetic, it's ready to race.
Price includes the wheels/tires seen in the photos, plus 2 additional full sets of wheels/tires (1 set w/ nearly new RA1 full-tread rains, 1 set w/ RA1 practice tires), Shop Manual and a few spares.
Asking $8500.00
