I was surprised to not find this here already. So here it is:

I liked the combined AM practice in July better than not having practice in May.
Neither was ideal, but the mini- enduros have been so successful
that I'm willing to live with a combined practice. And not even grumble about it.

Kudos to IRDC for trying it both ways.

Drivers: Something to remember, if you have NO qualifying on Saturday, you might not get the info if your transponder is not registering on the timing loop. In a combined practice, at least we can let you know your transponder has issues. PR and The Ridge are long tracks so lap count is short to notify you and then you fix the issue if you are in a qualifying. Maybe this is not an important issue for drivers.

I thought this last event was much better as far as track time, and combined groups seemed to work okay from what I saw and heard. IRDC is trying hard to deal with difficult issues, so I shall not grumble either (for a change).
