Someone who uses their tow rig in the winter might be able to use these. These went everywhere 2 years ago when Seattle was pounded with snow that the mayor's removal response was to wait for it to melt.
Michelin Lattitude X-Ice snow and ice tires. Size 245-70-16. Comes mounted on a set of steel wheels. 8-lug wheels, came off my 1999 Suburban 2500k. Tires have about 7/32nds tread.
$250 for 4 tires and wheels. Already mounted, ready to go.
I'm not sure how much of a range of GM product these 8-lugs will fit.
