I have spent my (short) racing career in the same BMW E30 and it’s time for a change. For sale is my 1986 BMW 325 Pro3 racecar. The car has proved to be very competitive, typically finishing in the top 5. Below are some details on the car.
History:
This car was originally built to compete in ITA in 2007. It raced without incident through the 2011 season. During the winter of 2011 it was updated to compete in Pro3.
Engine & Transmission
• Engine and head rebuilt in winter of 2011
• Injectors cleaned and flow tested in winter of 2011
• Crank Scraper
• Oil Pan Baffle
• BimmerWorld Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
• Oil Cooler
• Custom designed headers and exhaust system from RSI designed for this specific motor
• Polyurethane engine and transmission mounts
• TC Motorsports high performance clutch new as of winter 2011
• Shifter linkage rebuilt with UUC’s DSSR
• Rebuilt 4.10 LSD with BMW motorsport clutch disks
Suspension
• TC Motorsports Coilovers (Front and rear height adjustable, double adjustable Konis)
• 22mm front sway bar, 19mm adjustable rear
• Spherical, offset front control arm bushings
• TC Motorsports adjustable subframe
• Power steering removed
• All other chassis bushings replaced with AKG polyurethane
Brakes
• All calipers rebuilt winter 2011
• BimmerWorld front brake ducting
• BimmerWorld Teflon coated braided stainless steel brake lines (all 6)
• Brake Master Cylinder converted to non-ABS model
• Hubs converted to BimmerWorld bulletnose studs
Interior
• Sparco Circuit Pro seat
• Sparco steering wheel with Techniq quick release
Safety
• The 8 point cage was custom built by Competition Motorsports. NASCAR door bars on both the driver and passenger side. X-Braces between the main hoop and rear chassis mounting points.
• Front skid plate
• FireCharger 2.3L fire system
• Sparco 6 point camlock harness (expiring 2012)
• Rhom Innovations designed ballast (75lbs total in 25lb increments)
