Why FWD? Cuz you can burnish your brakes in the air!

Great SCOTT!
Since most members here don't visit the Sandbox I'd figure I'd post this here.

For reference, this is the second "session" of that day and my camera battery died before it was over, which is too bad because you don't get hear the girlfriend yell out, "Are they suppose to be on fire?!"

And for lots more insight you can read all 27 posts in regards to this "experiment" here:

I get bored between races. :p

Hopefully you didn't have any race gas sitting nearby for those sparks. Interesting idea.

Hey Colin, would you be interested in a solar powered charger for iphones, video cameras, etc? This is honest to goodness legit.
I know the guy that is handling these and I have seen them work and they are truly way cool. I am not a gadget person and I WANT ONE.
They come in a size of a small padded cd carrying case, or in a medium sized back pack, or the bigger back pack that can have the charging section detach and you can strap it to your back if your on a bike.
It would work in your race car and have constant power to your camera for thoes kodak moments you just missed.

Colin...that is way too cool.....wish I could do that, but since I am so slow I can get a whole season on 1 set of pads and rotors...HA.

oh Colin, thats one way to do it. i read the other forums post, and loading the brakes should work just fine i would have used second gear but thats me. did you warm up the brakes before the video started? i think you may have heated them up a little fast.

The video was my second go at it so when this video begins the rotors are probably between 300-350F.

Lynn: I'm all good, thank you though. My Van (tow vehicle) has multiple facets for charging things so I'm all good.
