Yes folks, save up for that new harness.
Remove your racing battery from the race car and FULLY charge it. Then, once a month put the charger back on it. You'll have a nice battery to start the 2010 season and some extra change toward that new harness
Charging once a month is better for the battery then leaving it on a tender. Better yet, find a charger with a desulfating mode.

After buying 1 Schumacher charger that never seemed to work correctly and a 2nd one that went up in smoke at the track, I'll never buy another one of their products!
