I will take a temporary break from my usual wining to say a big THANK YOU to Conference for how my return to racing was handled.
After a three year break, I was granted an observation license and ran in the Novice O/W group on Friday. This gave me a chance to get my racing feet back, and since I didn't do anything monumentally stupid, I was upgraded for Saturday and Sunday. I think it was a great way to handle the return of an experienced racer who has been out of the game for a few years.
