Race car is nearly race ready. Has been driven to test VW 1.8 liter motor and Hewland 5 speed transaxle with Torsen Gleason differential.

Car fits larger drivers with ease. Slightly larger than a Formula Ford and Formula Vee, similar size to Formula Atlantic, F2 or F3 car but less expensive to maintain and race.

With ICSCC logbook from 1988 and 1989 club racing seasons. [ SCCA, NASA, MCSCC, CSCCA, acceptable ]
SOVREN eligible with their new 1989 formula car cutoff. Depending on your local Vintage racecar organization car might be accepted in open-wheel class in SVRA, VARA, VSCCA, HSR, HMSA, VDCA, VFCA, VARAC, FRCCA, Monoposto

Presently set up to run Formula Libra, can be converted back to Super Vee or perhaps Formula Continental.

-Bertlis valve cover, but it is not a Bertils head
-Twin 45DCOE Weber carburetors
-BRE cast alloy intake
-Adjustable cam gear

Low roll hoop for shorter drivers

Car history as best we know:
-1979 (Dec) Car purchased from March Engineering by Wilber Bunce.
-1980 Car campaigned in the 1980 Pro Super Vee championship by Michael Chandler (son of Otis Chandler, the then owner of the Los Angeles Times)
-1984 Car sold to Keith Gray, (a Canadian) who drove it in select SCCA and ICSCC races in the Pacific Northwest
-1989 (Feb) New monocoque built for the car by Marc Bahner in California
(Aug) Car retired with only 3 race weekends on new Bahner tub
-2011 - Car ready for up-to-date belts and Test and Tune
