I have two FV"s and can only race one of them. I am offering both for sale and will keep the one not sold.

1- 1990 Caracal D #70
I am the original owner but Craig Archer of B.C. had it for a short time and apparently made some copies which are still being raced.
The car was built from a Caracal kit by Bob Cornish Racing in the bay area.
The frame is powder coated. It was also reinforced by Jess Heitman of Portland.
The body has been narrowed front and rear for aero effect.
New fuel cell June 2009.
Front and rear Penske shocks built by Joe Stimola of New York, and are presently in his shop for freshening.
Short box with 1:26 3rd in car.
Carbo tech brakes new 2009.
40 pounds ballast for 150 pound driver.
Past Conference champion.
Past SCCA Northern Pacific divisional champion.

Asking $4000 or offer as a roller.

2- 1996 VDF #11
Very aero car raced quite successfully by Leroy Copedge of the Dalles, Or.
Many SCCA national wins on the west coast.
Qualified for and raced at multiple SCCA Runoffs.
I bought this car for the Runoffs at Road America as this low drag, no draft car should have an advantage there, but health problems have caused a change in plans.
Short box with 1:26 3rd in car.
Penske front shocks.
Custom valved QDI rear shocks.
Fuel cell new 2005.
Double adjustable front beam by Ron Chuck.
Carbotech brakes.

Asking $5000 or offer as a roller.

Both cars come with spares including long box, tires, rains, wheel, trailing arm, spindles, brake drums, etc.

The VDF has been sold and relocated to New York state.

May sell the Caracal D with engine now freshly rebuilt and back from Brian McCarthy's shop in Sacramento. Complete with new case, late model clutch plate and disc, dykes rings, Kochanski intake manifold. Very competitive power with a lot of success in the NW. Ask my competitors about the engine "blackie" in #70 FV.

Details of the Caracal above.

$7,000. Will be at the double nationals at Pacific Raceways and Portland.
