Custom strut/shock rebuilding?

Does anyone know of a place in the NW that does custom rebuilds for high performance struts/shocks? Preferably Seattle but PDX would be fine too. I'm trying to figure out an alternative to mailing my struts to Japan for a 3 month rebuild.

Just talking in the pits I have heard good results from the following but have no personal experience as the shocks I use are non-rebuildable.

Chris Billings, longtime TC member is the owner of the Shock Shop. He's great. I've never had any work done by him. But, he's a racer, and a strong supporter of his customers.

As a side note, his "Yucca" beverage is legendary at TC races...I miss Port Orford.

Chris Billings sounds like serious home town support.

If you're looking for a 'nationally known' shock tuner, about the closest one is Doug Brenner in Ft. Bragg, Cal. WELL known well liked and highly regarded. Not a 'Joe Stemola' but very, very good. And, in his bio. there's a picture of him running a Brabham BT-29 at Pacific back in 1971.

I'd second/third/fourth the recommendation for Chris Billings @ shock shop. I've done Ohlins rear shocks, and Bilstein front struts through him.
