Counterfeit Driver Apparel

I read the article from S.F.I. in the latest bulletin with great interest. I had a similar experience with counterfeit circlips. I was using them to locate the writst pins in my motor. The stock ones looked like bent wire so I used hydraulic internal snap rings bought from a highly rated supplier. When I tore the motor down, I found the ends of more than one of the rings had snapped off and the debris rattling around in the end of the wrist pin hole had erroded the holes oval, almost wearing into the lowest ring groove. The first time or two I thought it was a co-incidence or an old ring but when it happened with completely new rings all through, I knew I was dealing with counterfeit parts. I'll leave you to guess the country of origin.

Now we are dealing with fake driver safety equipment and the name of the supplier in the article leads me to the same conclusion that I arrived at with the circlips. Nice to know that when you REALLY need you personal safety equipment it won't stand the test. Just like with melamine in the milk and lead in the paint on the kid's toys.

When all this fad of moving manufacturing facilities overseas began, they all thought how neat it was to bust the North American trade unions and degrade the standard of living for North American workers. Off-shore slaves labouring at bayonett point for a few coppers a day and the profits just came flooding in. Now the chickens are coming home to roost.

I'm no Socialist but I'd like to think this is going to make one of the bloated CEO's think about what is holding his luxury corporate jet together as he and his sexretary zoom of to some tax haven to salt away his unearned bonus and golden parachute cash.

Got mine made by Design 500 located in South Center. Could be the best money I ever spent. It actually fits.....they take about 18 measurements......it is the only item I have ever had made by a tailor.
