I have too many cars and need to downsize the fleet!
Up for sale is a 1991 Porsche 944S2. Here are the details:
- car is 98% stock and unmolested
- clean title
- registration just renewed
- red exterior, black leather interior
- original S2 engine (3.0L 4 cylinder), runs strong!
- 5-speed transmission
- clutch replaced with 944 turbo clutch
- S2 rear wing was replaced with standard 944 rear spoiler at some point in time
- 147k miles
- California/Texas car - no rust!
- overall in good shape
- since 2011, the timing belt, water pump, engine mounts, air filter, windshield washer pump, wiper blades, cat converter, battery, tires, Porsche floormats, and all fluids were replaced
- tires are Dunlop Direzza Z1 Sport Star Specs and have about 2000 miles on them
- paint has lots of small chips and body has some small dings, but it still looks nice. Just not pristine.
- wheels are the OEM D90s and have some curb rash on them. But they're straight and balanced.
- car will be needing shocks eventually. Not bad right now but I'm guessing they should be replaced within the next few thousand miles.
- passenger seat doesn't recline. Not sure what's wrong.
Overall, it's a nice, solid car and is fun to drive. Not perfect but the price reflects that.
