This car is a great choice for an entry-level race car, especially since you can drive it to the track. I never really got off the ground with racing as my wife and I started a family not long after I purchased this machine. So, it's never seen more action than a couple track days and one novice race. I purchased it locally after it had been prepped to meet the basic racing requirements, but hadn't yet been raced. Since I've owned it I've done a lot of work to ensure it's reliable and in excellent running condition.

Basically, all the grunt work has been completed to make this car into a reliable, safe, and ICSCC-legal machine. Now it's up to the prospective owner to have some fun with it: bring it to the track more, make some suspension improvements to take it's already good handling to the next level, and get some more power out of the engine with some simple bolt-ons. As-is, this car is really fun to drive. These MkIIs are starting to enter a "classic" status according to GRM magazine. And this car has quite a bit more potential.

I wondered what happened to that car!
With the anti intrusion bars it is an 8 point cage right?
It's a pretty car and would be great fun for a FWD enthusiast.
Besides Bonafort needs some competition! If you buy this car he would help you with build advise.
$4,000 is cheap for a track virgin.
