Kart enduro info here

Mr Adams: I will battle you with the entirety of my heart and you will probably lose. But maybe, just maybe. You might challenge me

Here I am, trying to help you out, and all I get is "lip" in return. As for me losing... on the kart track, I might give you that. Everywhere else you're just a bug on the windshield, boy.

I hear they are looking for a new Conan/Jay combo. Skip NBC though. I would head straight ot the Speed Channel. Sorry we can't be at the IRDC banquet this weekend. Heading to Charlotte today for Legends road racing and awards banquet. Feel free to talk about us in our absence. We would do the same for you:)

Yeah, well, I was ALSO trying not to shame (real or otherwise) anyone by including their name, but I guess you took care of that. Whether it was funny or not was also beside the point.

You really think, with a quote like that, he is afraid of being shamed?

At least you don't have a logo you can pin to peoples users name signifying "the mark of the whore"

Obviously now that he has transitioned from Mike Honcho to something that sounded like lesbian porn with Katie Couric and Diane Swayer... shameful nor bashful would be good descriptions for him (intentionally leaving out his name so no one gets who I am referring to).

BTW- with the email updates... by the time I got on here to make my first response, you had already deleted his post. So anyone actually following this thread knew who HE was and what HE said already.

How'd we get so far off of the kart enduro next weekend anyway? :)

Martini Race Team is ready to devour all the olives you can offer! And if we can't out drive you.... we'll out drink you!

I'm well aware of that. Just trying to both keep conversations relatively under control (in terms of what you'd say in a race paddock, surrounded by people you might not know all that well) and not unnecessarily slam people who might've crossed a line.

Went up to the track today for the first time. Was running pretty solid times the second time out and probably could've knocked more off if I hadn't 'run into' some slower traffic the 3rd run. Was faster than the old man, though.....

It's a FUN track. I'm looking forward to making you guys cry on saturday. :D

That's my girl, throwing the 'old man' under the bus first chance she gets....... Thanks sweetie! The way I see it I've got one week to lose about thirty pounds and then 'maybe' I'll be able to keep up with your skinny little #*@%.;)

Can someone (Mike or Randy) fill me in on the logistics of the kart and driver changes.

How will the time for driver stints be monitored?
How about max time for a driver?
Where will we be able to flag our drivers down to come in for pit stops? Last year we could send a person out pretty close to the track to get into their field of view... From what I've read about this year we won't be able to do that...?

Questions? I have some answers, or was given some actually

Steve, my co-capitain of the "greatest Freaking Kart Team Ever" I asked most of these in my email to Mike the Apex race director located on page 7 of this thread.

1. Each Team will be responsible for the driver stint lenght and time of stop per the rules. I don't know how Mike has planned for the offical timing to cover a violation but I sure he has something in mind. He runs in and officiates events just like this for a kart racing league.

2. Max time for a driver's stint is 1.5 hrs with a mandatory stop/go in pit lane BEFORE the 45 min mark. No driver can run longer on the track then 45 mins. Each driver on the team must run 30 mins minimum total time for the event.

3. Where to flag our driver when to pit? The spectator area and the end of the striaght prior to pit entry. I asked and Mike said NO to crossing pit lane due to number of teams, crowding, etc.

Your freaking awesome co-capitain and currently ranked 27th for the week and 60th for the month with a best lap of 45.805.

Look in your email for a reminder and some info.

There is no organized testing Friday night, but the track is open for anyone that wants to do a few sessions to cheat up their skillz.

Dave Haire brought up a couple of good suggestions.

Remember you bring your own helmet if you have one. The rentals leave a bit to be desired. I also recommend some warm clothes for additional layers, and driving gloves too. The track area gets cold since they’ve got ventilation fans running the whole time, so even though it’s an indoor event, the temperature is the same as outdoors, with lots of air movement to add a ‘wind chill’ factor. Maybe bring a change of clothes for after the race, to get out of the exhaust infused ones.

I don't know what there is for gathering after the race for food and/or adult beverages, but I'll probably stick around and find something. Everyone is welcome to join, and tell me how fast you were etc...

Now that the event is nearly upon us, how about posting the final entry list of the event. Can't tell the players without a program.
