Ok I just looked up on the calendar and see a small conflict...the tentative date for the kart enduro is the same date as the 24hrs of Daytona, January 30 - 31. Is there anyway to move the date to Feb some time?

Watch February for the date of the RATS Meeting for a potential conflict.
Don't know if at the Fall Meeting we will know the exact date of the RATS meeting.

Jan 23 work?

Curtis, do you have team members to add?

Lynn, any interest in driving? Ladies workers vs. Gentlemen workers?

Randy, you're funny.
To think that there is such a thing as gentlemen workers.

OK, if I did sign up........what kind of handicap do I get???

I have never been in a go kart other than the one we, as kids had, that we pushed down a hill, no brakes, ropes for steering, and took out the neighbours fence. (our go kart got grounded for a month and we had to fix the fence)

I will put the word out at the ROD meeting.

Randy:

What do I have to do to be part of this? It sounds like fun!!

How much will it cost to be part of a team and race?

Are all the karts the same?

Who supplies the karts?

"J.C."

J.C., Apex supplies the Karts, you will rotate out of your Kart during driver changes so that everyone gets a chance for the good, the bad and the ugly.

We hope to keep the costs the same as last year, which was 600 dollars per team (usually 6 man teams, so 100 bucks each). Don't quote me on that price, I have some final negotiations to do with Walker.

Last year we filled the teams in about 3 days, so Randy will probably poke you in somewhere today and then do a final roster in about 30 days.

Going to need to prod the workers and see if they can fill two teams, if not then we will place individuals in on a first come, first serve basis. I know that, like last year, the locals will fill a team in about one minute if we give them the opportunity.

Added J.C., and others. I'll have a chance to speak with some of the ROD members this weekend at the fall meeting, to get a sense of their participation.

WhooHoo!! I think we just got named: "We got The Salsa and You Don't, Nway nway nwa nwa na nwa nwaaaa".

Welcome on board JC, but you cant get no more diverse than an Okie!!!

Kyle, if you can, remove all side pods before JC gets in the cart and keep your head down for flying cones. (luv ya JC)

Lynn:

You must be very courageous!!

Do you realize I will be at the banquet and I will have a microphone at my disposal?

People like me are extremely dangerous with a microphone; .............. you could be severely and roasted;........ as a matter of principle. Paybacks are hell.

Lynn; here is a friendly suggestion .................... BRACE YOURSELF!!

Love and kisses;:D

Rod:

Sounds like fun!!

I will, very likely, provide two out of the three elements; ......... the bad and the ugly. One for my looks and the other for my driving.;)

All the best;

"J.C."

P.S. It was mentioned that this is indoor racing. Are the karts electric or combustion engine powered?
