    For Sale Formula Libre

    Regretfully selling my Formula Libre

This car falls in between a Formula Atlantic and Formula Continental

The Car has never seen any ort of track or course. It is a new chassis, new engine, new gearbox etc.
The chassis is a Carbir formula continental modified slightly to accept the 2.0 Ford Duratec engine (New crate motor 0 miles)
It is coupled to a Hewland FTR sequencial 6 speed gear box. (new zero miles) Gearbox alone is prob worth $15K - $17K to replace.
All suspension is Penske piggy back shocks (new) brakes are Wilwood with wavey cut rotors (new). Billet machined uprights.

New Body work, has twin aluminum radiators, oil coller, dry sumped. Oil tank is intregal to the FTR casting (super cool set up)

Car is set up with pneumatic paddle shifting with onboad mini air compressor. No lift shift. Can be put back to lever cable shift (I have all those parts.) 20 min conversion.

I intalled ARP bolts in most of motor. It is stock with the exception of Genvei ITB's so horse power is going to be approx 215, but with a point and click 300hp parts can be installed. Thats the beauty of these engines, they are all aluminum not like the Z tecs that are cast iron blocks.
Dash is AIM Pista with data logger and G force tracking. GPS can be added.

Car comes with a full set of one piece OZ wheels. New Rain tires mounted. Several sets of "A" arms, new radiator, two nose cones. This car can be converted into a sports racer with Beasely Body work.

Engine management is an Omex. Car starts and runs fine, needs to go to dyno for tuning. I can help with that.

More detail can be discuss over phone or in person. Car located in Aurora, OR can deliver anywhere in NW at no cost.
    503 seven zero seven 2236

    Asking $23,000 obo

Pictures there are, an asking price there is not...
My favorite racing quote: Jan Magnussen, when asked by a reporter how he could be "so brave" on the racetrack, replied, "I've had hospital food; it's not so bad."
