Hello all -

With the new scale system up and functioning ICSCC finds itself with a surplus set of Longacre Accuset Computer Scales. The E-Board has decided that it would be best if we put these up for sale to our members in hopes that they can continue to be useful to someone in our racing community.

The description of the package for sale is:

(1) Electronic Longacre Accuset scale head mounted in an aluminum carry case with connected electronic leads intended to connect to four scale pads

(4) 15" x 15" Longacre Scale Pads

(1) Aluminum carry case large enough for the (4) scale pads and a notebook

(4) short pieces of aluminum ramp material remaining from cutting up the old ramps to use with the new scale system
(4) Aluminum buckets designed for the scale pads to sit in to connect them to the ramps and protect them from the pavement

(2) long aluminum scale bridges intended to span from pad to pad that are somewhat functional but cracked and need repair

The scale system has been returned to Longacre for calibration annually and was in good working order when used at the first race of the year 2017.

Here is how the auction will work -

Starting bid will be $250 and bid increments will be $25 dollar intervals (U.S funds). The idea is to be fair and transparent so post your bid in this thread where everyone can see it. I am happy to answer any calls or e-mails concerning the scales but they are sold used and as-is and the winner will take all of the items listed for sale. Nothing that isn't explicitly listed above is included in the sale whether it shows up in the back of a picture or not!

Good luck to all - auction will run for two weeks so it will end at 8 pm Pacific Standard Time Thursday, June 29th. Make sure your bid has a posting time before that!

The scales were won by Michael Conatore and will reportedly be used by a consortium of long time Conference racers - they went to a good home and will continue to serve local racers as we had hoped! Thanks to all participants!
