A couple of things.

First it looks like Guy knocked a little off the price for the local club and it's a good thing cause this car should stay local.

2nd, my dad got beat by a 94 vd on both days of the pacific majors and Portland majors and the best lap times on both occasions were within 1/10th of a second of each other, so this car is truly capable of being fast in the right hands.

Somebody should pick this up and come race at the NWFC race at the ridge at the end of the year.

Thanks, Charlie.

The RF94/95 VD is track ready, clean, and better than factory fresh. If I had the time and space, I would keep the RF94/95 Van Diemen.

The price is highly negotiable.

thx

It appears that I am negotiating with myself ;) $15,500 OBO with spares.

Spares standalone are a $5k plus value.

Even still, make me an offer that I can't refuse.

Based upon upgrades, rebuilds and spares this is on HECK of a buy guys. Jump in to the world of wings. Keep it in the Northwest.

The Van Diemen's New Home: a race shop, but should be a museum

Karen, BATS Motorsports, told me that the Van Diemen’s new home was quite the place.

So pristine, that it makes anything else look like a ghetto.

Loti, Lolas, F1’s, Brabhams, McLarens 1972 M8F Can-AM (yum), Marchs, Chevrons, Camaro, Corvettes, Dallara.

• Ha ha, LOL, a Datsun B510 . . . in 1972, when I was giving Mullholland Drive a workout, my then girlfriend’s cousin’s boyfriend ran parking lot grand prix in one of these:
http://www.haynesperformanceautospor...kergallery0=38
That was the marque to beat in 1970’s parking lot GP/autocross. Looks like it has Panasport wheels too . . . the wheels to have.

• Here is a Lotus 23C LeMans watershed moment car:

The McLaren

• And a 1964 ELVA (made in England, just like me, and also with a French name “El' va,” i.e. she goes):
http://www.haynesperformanceautospor...kergallery0=42

• A 1972 Ferrari 312PB (one of the best sounding cars to me):
http://www.haynesperformanceautospor...kergallery0=47

• A 1988 Lola LC88 F1 with a 3.5L Cosworth DFZ
http://www.haynesperformanceautospor...kergallery0=77

• A 1969 Merlyn Mk11A . . . the precursor to the Merlyn MkIII that I drove at Willow Springs in 1978:
http://www.haynesperformanceautospor...kergallery1=42

• Brian Elliott, the buyer of my Van Diemen RF94/95 other car:

Nice to know that my Van Diemen RF94/95 went to a great home, where they have an RF96 also.

Although a historic, it is hopelessly outclassed.
