I hope someone can assist me. Back in the early 2000's I was fortunate to be able to come out to one of your races and watch a buddy race. It lead to me running in a number of 6/8/12 hour enduros with you guys. However, what I really remember was some of the more, how do I put this, "exotic" cars that I saw participating at your events. One was what looked to be an old sprint car or super mod with a huge @$$ wing on top running in A/SR, a bunch of torsion barred Chryco products from the early 70's and some really exotic stock car based iron. I have also been regaled with stories of a plywood bodied V8 Corvette kinda thingy.

Anybody have any pictures of some of the wild and woolly stuff that used to race with you guys? I would especially like to see shots of the wooden Corvette special.

Thanks in advance,

Eric Nummelin

All wooden race cars were the build of Jack Banton with Cascade Sports Car Club. He had a wooden hauler too.

Chaz Souther(?) built an A/SR from an old Mustang Mach 1 chassis many years ago.
