PRO3 are excited to announce BMW Northwest in Tacoma, WA as a new series sponsor for our group. BMW Northwest will be taking the top of the windshield on the PRO3 cars. We're excited to bring BMW Northwest on board, and they plan to promote PRO3 and ICSCC through their various media channels.

The support is $12,000 per year to the group. $10,000 will split between drivers making the Top 10 and drivers outside the Top 10. The final $2,000 in support will be for printing of PRO3 promotional items.

Payout Schedule:

Top 10 $500 Checks
Ten $500 checks will be awarded to the Top 10 in ICSCC year end point totals which takes into account dropped races. To be eligible to qualify for a Top 10 check, car must display the required BMW Northwest graphics in all ICSCC PRO3 races you entered during the season. Winners of Top 10 checks are not eligible for $250 general raffle checks.

Twenty $250 General Raffle Checks
A second set of 20 general raffle $250 checks will be awarded by raffle to PRO3 owner entries outside the Top 10. Similar to the Accurate Engine raffle, each PRO3 race entered will qualify for one entry in the raffle. PRO3 car owners are eligible for raffle entries of their car if run by a renter. Checks will only be made out to PRO3 car owners. A raffle entry form will be provided to complete and submit prior to the raffle. The completed raffle entry form must be submitted by the deadline to qualify for the raffle. If a PRO3 car(s) in the Top 10 is not eligible, then that $500 check(s) will go into the general raffle as $250 checks for PRO3 cars not in the Top 10.

Graphics: Eligible PRO3 cars will display a BMW Northwest windshield banner and small BMW NW decal on each side of car.

Thanks for the hard work, Lance.

It'll be great to add a great company like BMW Northwest to the PRO3 list of sponsors.

Toyo Tires back with PRO3 in 2013

Toyo Tires will be back supporting the PRO3 group in 2013.

We'll be running the same program as last year. Toyo Bucks redeemable for Toyo Tire RA1 purchase will be awarded by raffle after each PRO3 race in the ICSCC championship.

Toyo Payout Schedule:
Entries: Total Payout per Race
1-5: $170
6-10: $350
11-15: $530
16-20: $710
21-24: $880
25-30: $1,100
31+: $1,200

Each race payout is split between two drivers to help spread it around. Last year Toyo Tires awarded over $13,000 in Toyo Bucks to PRO3 drivers.

Great work Commissioner Lance! Thanks for your efforts in maintaining our Toyo relationship and building a new partnership with BMW NW—-they were great to deal with when obtaining my (then new) M3 and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer when the need arises.

Does this scenario sound familiar to a few of you? Buy BMW, join BMW CCA, attend BMW NW-sponsored HPDE at ProFormance and a couple of CCA Track days, now hooked on Pro3 racing. I thank you all (wife not so much:)

Bimmerworld, Griots Garage and 425 Motorsports all back for 2013

Bimmerworld, Griots Garage and 425 Motorsports will all be back as sponsors of the PRO3 Series.

With Bimmerworld, we are going to distribute the gift cards at $50 GCs, for a total of 40 cards. With the size of our group growing, this will spread it out a little more.

425 Motorsport will stay the same at $100 GCs. 20 total.

We're talking with Griots Garage about modifying the agreement a bit, getting a few less of their $100 gift cards, but getting free use of their meeting room for our annual non-banquet in November.

Happy to report that Accurate Engines in Lynnwood are again on board as a sponsor for PRO3. This is a great deal. At the end of the year we raffle a new engine to a PRO3 driver. For each PRO3 race entered, the PRO3 driver puts their name in the hat. More races entered means more chances to win. We then pull a name from the hat. In case the winner has a fresh engine, Accurate Engines allows the winner to sell the rights to the engine. In 2012 novice Bill Mann won the engine. Bill is a student at Western Washington Univ.

We've created an 11x17 PRO3 2013 Race Schedule to distribute to BMW fans. Big thanks to BMW Club member Matt Ferbrache for the design work.

Our Toyo Spec for 2013 will not include the RR. We were not aware of the RR back when ICSCC were going through the rule change procedure. We'll probably use the RR in 2014 but will watch feedback from other groups using the RR this year before making a final decision.

The 2013 PRO3 Schedule Poster are at these locations for free, feel free to pick one up. Grab a couple if you know of a motorsport friendly lobby of a business where one could be displayed.

New book out about the BMW E30 with a chapter on E30 Racing. PRO3 ended up being featured heavily in that chapter, and also show up in a couple other chapters of the book.

Cost is $24.95 and the book is 144 pages. Full color. There is also an e-book option.

If you use the promo code "PRO3" you can get a 20% discount on the purchase price which would include any other books you wanted to purchase. The publisher has a couple of dozen BMW related books.

Here is a link to ordering info, and includes a link to a free PDF viewing of the Chapter 7 on E30 Racing.
