IRDC 4 Hour Enduro - April 10, 2011 - INFO PAGE

I will be driving up from PDX early Sunday to work flags if anyone is interested in a free ride. I'll be bringing back a truck full of tires so I can likely only take one person, but the seat is open if anyone wants it.

anyone want to carpool tomorrow morning from north seattle/ edmonds? ill be leaving here around 6:30am! woooo!! haha

Yes Randy it was fun to watch but he had some 'help'.... 31 Porsche which was clearly the 'cream of the field' would have given him a good run at the end but developed an ignition problem. BMW 99 was a 'solid' 2nd and not gaining ground on the other hand; BMW 3 was gaining about 2 seconds a lap on both of them until Turn 5 ate him for an afternoon snack... Sigh, ugly front end damage. Probably too far back to challenge 731 but clearly hunting #99.

SO Trophy #1 and #2 go north to BC. IRDC couldn't keep it's Trophy's at home. But it was a good enduro with just a touch of wet for the practices and a 99% dry race.

The SRF 03 won his class. I haven't seen him at Pacific with ICSCC before. But he/they got a LOT of lessons in how to spin gracefully at the key locations at Pacific. Had to have pirouetted at least 12/14 times sometimes doubles on one lap! But when following the track propertly was moving right along.

Congratulations to all the class winners. Certainly had a blast and really appreciated all the volunteers and for the steward graciously allowing our 3rd driver to get behind the wheel. Very excited about our 2nd in L3 even though we certainly were not the quickest! Look forward to returning next year and now it's on to Portland in 3 weeks!

Thanks to all the Enduro racers, crew, and volunteer workers for making the 6th Annual IRDC 4-Hour Enduro such a successful event. On behalf of IRDC, we look forward to hosting three ICSCC Championship Race weekends in 2011 and we look forward to another successful IRDC Enduro in 2012. If you enjoyed the Enduro event, we hope you will come back and join us again for our 2012 Enduro and also support the Cascade Enduro in October. Final results are shown below (and repeated on the initial post). The Conference race season has begun - have a safe and enjoyable race season everyone!
