***SPECIAL NOTICE - IRDC Registration has moved inside the paddock at P.R.***

Randy Blaylock

Highlander Motorsports
The registration location for this weekend's IRDC race at Pacific Raceways has moved inside the paddock area, near driver services (concessions buildings) and will be conducted inside the Morton hauler/trailer.

Race registration will not be taking place in the normal location in the buildings near the fence.

Look for a 40' long white car trailer, and come on inside to complete registration.

Please be sure to sign the waiver at the entrance gate, drivers please ensure everyone on your crew, guests etc... have signed in and are wearing their wristband on their wrist.

Thanks.

Just an addendum, if the procedure is the same as it was for the Enduro. There will be a security guard at the gate to sign in the waiver and get the wristband. Please be patient with whoever it is. It will be new for all of us accessing the track. Keep the wristband you will need to show it to reenter the track.

Yes been through this TWICE now. Enduro and today with the Porsche club. That was bad.

But for a full blown ICSCC race it's gonna really mess things up. ONE maybe TWO lines trying to process ALL drivers, crew and workers for signing release forms. If I'm late to the meeting, don't panic, I'll be there.

What motivated this change? It does not help make things more efficient.

That's not any different than it is for getting into Portland, is it?

You are correct. But that's done over several hours as people arrive with some walking up the line to sign in advance. Imagine trying to get everybody in during like a 30 to 45 minute period.

Even if the 'workers' who do this arrive at 6:00 AM how many of "US" will get there before 7:30 - quarter to eight.

We shall see this weekend. I HOPE a Friday sign in is good for the entire weekend.

IRDC requests you WEAR the wristband ON YOUR WRIST. Not in a pocket, not on your hat, not on the beltloop of that other pair of pants.....on your wrist.

A big thank you from IRDC for your cooperation.

P.S., If you are concerned about your safety due to fears of being snagged & dragged by your plastic wristband, they can be made break-away style in seconds by snipping a v-shaped cut out of the band. IRDC officers will have scissors for you to use. (Blunt ended, of course)
