Enclosed trailer questions

Hey all, I was wondering if someone with a enclosed trailer could measure the overall outside height. I am building a shop at my house and I need to know for design specs. I currently do not have a enclosed trailer, but would be interested in getting one in the next few years and I would like to be able to pull it into the shop. FYI, this is for just a regular 24-28' single story trailer. Thanks a bunch

Looked them up on the Internet:

Pace Americans 24 to 28 feet with 'normal' 6' 6" interior are 8' 3" to 8' 5" overall height depending upon the model. Featherlite's are close to the same. Wells Cargo's are in the 8' 5" to 8' 7" range.

If you're going to slip it in a garage door, you need to allow extra room for any slope to the driveway. 10' high door would/should work unless you have a really steep grade on your driveway. 12' height would make it a no brainer.

Lest we forget, you're dealing with a close to 9' width too.

Note:
Author assumes no responsibility for trailer hitting the garage structure when attempting to insert same.
