Mission Races-Traveling to Canada-Return to USA after 6/1/09

Heads up for those going to Mission, BC Races.

If you are like me and have never left the continent you might not have a passport. I due not, I never needed one before.

After June 1st, 2009 you will need one of the items below due to the new law. Some of these can take quite awhile to receive so do not sit around till the last minute or you will be out of luck.

A Passport
A Passport Card
A Enhanced Drivers License
A Enhanced ID Card

Soon, they will replace those documents with a biochip inserted in to your arm and it's all over!

Having traveled the world on a passport years ago, I remember the days when it had become so relaxed, most immigration points didn't even bother stamping your passport. On the other hand, we were also allowed two passports (special deal for some business's ) for visiting both Arab countries and country's Arab's weren't really keen on at any particular moment or, visa versa.

Ain't that the truth. They can keep their drivers license with chip, I'll keep my passport so they can watch that sit for months at a time with out moving!
