Class Questions

Hello,
I am considering racing with ICSCC and would like some help in determining the best class to race in.

I have been racing with SCCA in Improved Touring R with a 96 BMW 328, looks like I may fit in EIP, SPM, or ITX. Would like to be competative and be in a class with several other cars.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I would have to read the EIP rules a little more closely but IT-R would not be included in ITX. Regardless of what class you land in, we look forward to having you join us!

SPM or EIP would be good classes. EIP, if legal, would be a great group as well due to how many people race in it.

I'm sure you've already looked here but just in case:

What kind of times are you putting down at Pacific Raceways or Portland with/without chicane?

if you put the restictor in to run ITS then you would be able to run itx as long as you would pass its class rules. ST is a class you could try if you want to pull more weight out or put more power in. its at 10-1 wt-hp class with any areo you want, and dot tires
