Race ready 1976 VW Rabbit (dove tail) Race Car for Club Rabbit or HP with trailer $4,000 obo

I really hate to do this but circumstances will prevent me from racing in 2017. So instead of having the car sit - and pay storage fees - it is just simply time to move on. So here are the details:

Engine: Rebuilt short block this fall; 1600 cc; techtonics cam, valve springs & headers; Ivey Webber carb.; Pertronic Hall Effect distributor, MSD rev limiter; Northern radiator fan, oil cooler, Accusump.

1750 lbs. Silver, some minor body damage, custom aluminum dash & interior body panels. Gauges: tach., oil pressure, water temp, volt, exhaust temp., wired transponder, 3 nozzle fire system, fuel cell

Suspension: Coil Overs with adjust. ride height, tokiko front & koni rear shocks (all adj.); Front & Rear sway bars (rear adjust.), Front strut bar with adj. camber, -2* rear shims; spacers on all 4 wheels, 3 races on new front hubs, 4 wheel disc brakes, Tilton Brake Bias adj.

Transmission: 4 speed with Quaif Limited Slip

Wheels & Tires: 14x7 Kosei with ok Shaved Toyo RA1 (or Hoosiers - will verify), 13x5.5 alloys with Hoosier R6 (only 6 heat cycles), 13x5.5 VW wheels with treaded Toyo RA1 for rain, 3 13X6 Diamond Racing Wheels (tires shot)

Spares: Working 4 spd trans. (no limited slip), clutch disc, starters, axles, softer rear coil springs, carb jets, Misc. electrical, mechanical parts, spare engine.

Trailer: 18½ flatbed with cargo box, dual axle with brakes, low mileage on axles; good tires

This was formerly owned by Dale Champion and later by Wayne Monahan. Wayne made some additional improvements and the car runs 1:42/1:43 at PIR w/chicane.
